Hopefully the film fest is going to provide funds for a remote water level sensor that works via sms. Ive got some instructions and schematics of how to build a system, but dont really know one end of a resistor from the other and i think , perhaps naively, that 'chips' are food.
I therefore am looking for someone to build and troubleshoot the unit, before starting to suss out how we upload the information that the unit produces. I dont really know how difficult a project it is, but would be happy to take advice from anyone who knows the subject.
Obviously the last step is going to be to find a location for the unit, which will be fairly small (shoebox size) and will need to be mounted on a river bank, with the owners permission. It's a self contained thing, so doesnt need power, but will have to be within mobile reception.
All ideas gratefully received!
PM if you have contact numbers etc that may be helpful.
