Shap- anyone going from Kendal

Had hoped to meet a few fellow boaters from on here by now but the rain just isn't coming. So is anybody from the Kendal area going?

Hopefully there will be some water by then and we could get out?

ill be coming from that direction, but will need to get up there early to set up and will be staying overnight. You need a lift?

I don't need a lift but thanks for the offer. I was just hoping to meet folks in my area to have a beer with and also in case there was water and we could get out before or after. Lets see what the weather brings, but its not looking great at the moment. Wish I hadnt trashed my sea kayak. Ah well.
