Well at last we have some rain!

Unfortunately I stuffed my back yesterday so am not a happy bunny today. Paddling is definitely off the menu for a while.:mad::mad:

Go on, cheer me up and tell me what you've been paddling...

And the Duddon was quite high as well!

Put the DIY on hold 'til the spring!

Cheers Chris,

On a diet of co-codamol, Ibuprofen and deep heat at the moment! LOL Hopefully it'll only take a week to sort itself out. I think it's a muscle problem rather than a disc.

Great piccy's swimmer! was it a good turn out of the duddon boys?

Only thing to spoil the day was seeing a large amount of paddlers choosing to ignore the agreement on the Greta

Got out on tarn beck and the upper duddon. The duddon had dropped off a bit by then. Alll good fun. I'll stick some pics on the blog later tonight. That DIY stuff is dangerous - Stick to outdor sports, much safer.

Swimmer- is that wave in the pictures (red boat, front surf) is it on the esk and whereabouts? It looks quite good, is it deep?

A tasty cruise down the lower Clough.
Nice levels, though they had dropped ~1ft in places since a few hours earlier!

Nice effort people!

I paid a visit to a local Chiropractor on Monday to sort my back out. He realigned my spine... an interesting experience that I do not wish to endure again soon. It's amazing what noises your back can make if bent in the right direction...

Anyway for all you able-bodied people it looks like there's going to be some good rain over night so the becks will be flowing tomorrow.

Hope the back is improving!
Got the leven today but it had dropped quite a lot from monday.

Is anyone out tomorrow? I can potentially do the afternoon.

Ned asked - "Swimmer- is that wave in the pictures (red boat, front surf) is it on the esk and whereabouts? It looks quite good, is it deep?"

Yes, the Esk - the last small drop before the getout at the bridge at Eskdale Green. Where you go left of a small rocky island. And it was deep enough for Rob to go for a roll when it ate him!

Jon asked - "Great piccy's swimmer! was it a good turn out of the duddon boys?" Just 4 of the usual keen ones, none of the "Big Boys"!

And it looks like West was best ...

Steve - I was just thinking of setting up a cripples corner for us to have sedate non sports related chat while we recover, but then I see your off bloody surfing! You do seem to have a hard life Steve. ;)

Captain scum can tell you a lovely place to stay in Morocco...

Was in Morocco this September. Are you heading for Essaouira? Watch out for the traffic police - they are lethal. We were stopped 4 times in 7 days!!!! If you want any advice about the area let me know.

Hi Captain

we are flying to Casablanca then heading to the coast, but only there for 7 days not quite rainchasers but surfchasers, did you go to that area ?

Im not sure how far Essaouira is from the area we are going.
