River Roeburn

There's a few trees down in the river. Most can be paddled around with care but there a couple that are worth a portage. Also a broken footbridge secured in the river bed with three blue ropes across the river could cause problems in lower than spate water levels. Beware!

Paddled the Roeburn again last weekend...

Almost all the previous tree blockages that we found last time have been washed to the river sides or dissappeared completely. There's still the rope bridge with attached tree which requires a portage approximately 1/3 rd of a mile from the put in and a limbo under a log which was only just possible at the medium level we ran it. Both these blockages where easily spotted.

This isn't a guarantee that you wont find anything new when you next run the Roeburn!
