Been out and about today - shopping for new bouyancy aid and on way back took the attached photos. Apologies for the poor quality, taken on a very old mobile 'phone.

Indeed it has been a spiffing day out - Leven, Tarn Beck and Duddon down to Duddon Bridge...all at brilliant, no hanging about levels - Leven took 30 minutes including having to whittle a replacement bung below Backbarrow weir! Plus mates arriving tonight for a weekends paddling. At last the rain gods are blessing us : )

I missed the las lot of good rain as well. i think im jinxed this year.
Still im not bitter (well at least im trying not to be ;) )
Back tomorrow, so it will stop raining then!

5 of us had a quick blast down the lune on Friday morning, at beck foot the water was up to the tarmac on the road, and at the strid all the rocks were covered river wide with a big hole where the strid normally is. We ran it center just avoiding a nasty pourover. Great big water paddling !!!
