River Ure (North Yorkshire)
New Year ’s Day paddle with some of the Leeds Canoe club from Masham to Sleningford Watermill. The river was at a good level with nice wave trains for a good many sections, We got in below Hack falls as we were running out of day light and had some newbees with us, but the nutters did the falls and almost got back to Sleningford before the beginners and day trippers got back. Sleningford was fun with good level and a challenge. I expect it will be good until the weekend as it was still rising during the day with the rain fall. Trip took 1hr 15mins
