Missing Equipment on the Crake

Following the fatal incident at Bobbin Mill rapid, River Crake on new years eve, a number of boats, paddles and throw lines were left and lost during the rescue.

Today, we managed to recover most of this equipment from river although there is still some gear lost.

Equipment still missing are a AT2 paddles and Orange Diesel Wavesport Kayak. We believe that these will have found their way into the Crake / Leven estuary.

Please could you keep an eye out for this kit.

I read in tonights evening mail that some equipment was recoverd today, I presume that was your group.

If you think they might have gone out into the estuary, might be an idea to let Barrow Coastguard and Barrow Police know - just in case it causes any search to be initiated.
