Tree / Stump
On the section from Scroggs wier, Just after going under Hawes Bridge the river splits round an Island. The main flow takes the left channel as do most paddlers. On the left side of this channel there is a tree stump / trunk. It's blocking almost half the width.
It's easy to keep to the right though there is a small stopper you have to go through and you miss the bouncy waves.:eek:
