Helloo

I'm thinking of heading up to the Lakes for the next week, water levels seem pretty resonable this weekend... Does anyone fancy paddling or mind if I join them?

Cheers
Dave

Couple of us are thinking top-to-bottom Duddon for tomorrow, aiming to be at Duddon Bridge by 10-ish. Should hold its water, but will be taking a quick peek at the Calder on the off chance that it has enough water in at least from Monk's Bridge down to the sea - a great run if it has got water, minimal faff of a shuttle into the bargain.

If anybody fancies either, let me know on here? It would be good to put faces to names!

Will be gambling on Yorkshire this weekend, but keen to get those west coast rivers sometime soon. I have inspected the Calder, only done the lower bit. Got down the Greta this evening water level just below the white line...happy boating...see you on the river.

Hi, new here (know Poke a little) and up for a paddle Sunday may have no friends but wheels. Not sure if i'm up to the Wallowbarrow section of the Duddon but up for the rest. Will watch this thread with interest tomorrow, post if you would like company, am nr. Manchester so S.Lakes preferred.

There will be a group of us meeting behind the petrol station at Greenodd at 09.00am tomorrow. We will probably be running either the Kent, Duddon or Leven. If you're interested just turn up.

That would be great! I will put the bike in for a solo shuttle in case I miss you. I will be there at 9am. My name is Mark and my kayak is green ;-p 27y.o.

Is the garage the one just off the main drag headed towards the Crake?

I will be there at 9am.

Much Appreciated.

Mark.

Sandy / Mark

Greenodd Petrol station is at the confluence between the Leven and the Crake. We usually leave pretty promptly so best to be early. You can't miss me I have a great big plate on the bonnet of my blue 406 estate. See you all tomorrow

Will be there. Just gotta remember to spring forward my clock an hour.

Again, thanks for having me along, i know it isn't quite usual to have random internet paddlers along. :)
