Hi all,

I've put a new front end on DBP. Basically it's a page that has all the info you need....new posts, pm's, latest gallery picture, calendar, and stats.

If you've not spotted it, it's at http://www.deathbeforeportage.co.uk

Got any feedback? ...please!

nice. i think we need a few more folk before the networking stuff takes off, but would like it to!.
Also I think maybe stick the photos to the sides if you can? Personally I think the thread will remain the heart of the site and its good just to see that front and centre.

what happens now to the first time hit (ie unregistered) from dbp.co.uk?

Out of geeky inguisitiveness i just hit www.dbp.co.uk.

Cheers for the feedback.

If an unregistered user hits www.deathbeforeportage.co.uk there page is almost identical to a registered user. Instead of the centre positioned box with the user control panel i.e. notification of pm's etc. they see a sign in box and a register here link.

On the photo's front I've dropped the images for now as I am the only one to have uploaded any (hint hint! :D) and the module for placing them to the side column requires work. I do think it's important to have some eye candy on the page but agree that the thread should have centre stage.

Any more feedback?
