The last of the cumbrian canoeists winter talks.
Fiona is best known as the first woman to successfully circumnavigate Britain and Ireland single-handedly in a kayak. However her enthusiasm has led her to try out many branches of the sport of canoeing and taken her to Israel, Wales, Scotland, Spain, Ireland, Australia, Alaska, and North America. Fiona is a popular speaker and tonight she will share her love for canoeing, her life in the outdoors, and her experiences on many expeditions - in particular her circumnavigation of the British Isles.
5th March 2007 At the Labour Club Hall, central Keswick opposite the Pencil Museum.
6th March 2007 At the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal.
