The Crake

There's a tree completely blocking the river on the flat bit of water 150yds up stream of the Bobin Mill rapid.

Can be squeezed through with difficulty or portaged on the left bank.

Will it still be there this weekend? Is it a long term blockage, or a quick fix job?

It was a big'un, about 12inch diameter trunk spanning from bank to bank, so it's not going to float away! Going to need a chainsaw.

It was a couple of weeks since I saw it so it might have been removed by now. Perhaps someone else can confirm this?
