Sunday Mornings

Things are looking bad for any beck paddling at the weekend.... I looked the Leven today and the water wasn't even flowing over the side weirs at the brick shoot! I've not seen it that low for a long while.

Anyone got any ideas for we could do on Sunday mornings? It doesn't have to be paddling related!

I also climb (about as badly as I paddle).
Not necessarily a suggestion that you should take it up, but on the other hand!

I'll get to my point.. I was climbing on the coast at Silverdale last year and the water here was fairly boiling as the tide started to run (it rather improved our climbing speed).

What about a paddle from Silverdale to Arnside on a spring tide? It might warrant a recy. first on a spring.

Not bad! ...there's also the Arnside bore and the Leven estuary bore on a good spring tide.
