Leven tree (island L)

Just a reminder that the substantial log jam in the river left channel around fishermans island (last rapid on leven) is still blocked.

this was the usual line in higher water levels but it is now very dangerous. the river right channel is clear at present and does work in high water levels at the same grade as lower water.

The tree is still there and so be careful in the current high levels!!!

Does anyone know if it is still there. I went down the right on Sunday but didn't have time to check the left closely. It looked clear from the top in the slightly dusky misty half light, but I couldn't be certain

a group of us were paddling the river right on sunday but a group just in frount of us went down the left it dident look like they had any problems.
