Thinking of running Skelwith Force?

I've often looked at Skelwith Force and thought "nah, not today!"

Looks a lot less scary on this picture... and the looping pool was nothing.

I drove past Skelwith Bridge this afternoon and took a couple more photographs of the current level.... What a difference!

It was at the level in the last two pics last friday evening. Linked it up with GLB and had a nice paddle across lake to join them. It went fine with big autoboof off that river left ledge - getting on it was the tricky bit!
Hope it goes this week as well.
