Jonny and I are looking at heading to Val Sesia but need an extra paddler to make the trip viable.
We are thinking of going 29th May till 12th June, ferry from Dover to Calais is currently £70 return on these dates, although we could go earlier if more convenient and levels will be better. Apparently, there is lots of snow this year so the season is expected to last a little longer, so hopefully these dates are fine. We are planning on driving out, and sleeping in, the van (if tolerated) with maybe the odd night in campsites. Looking at paddling the classics upto grade 5 so someone with similar ambitions would be best.
The snag is, to book the ferry we need to know who is coming ASAP. We are hoping the whole trip will cost less than £1000, so around £300 if three of us.
