Hi all,
I often miss out on paddling some rivers because it's fishing season and I've heard in the past that there's been angry fishermen running along the bank waving axes :p at the passing group of paddlers.
Usually this information isn't very up to date so I thought I'd ask what rivers you paddle - confrontation free - and those on which there are issues, be it fishermen, locals or whatever.
If we can get a good list together and keep it updated we should all be able to get out more and have a good selection of known paddles to choose from during the summer.
I'll start us off:
Troutbeck - very very rarely seen a fisherman on here
Greta, Keswick - When the water is at or above the white marker at the put-in it's cool to paddle although there but was one very drunk fisherman with Fosters in hand telling us about big knifes etc.:D
