Hi all,

It dawned on me today that i have been on the forum for a few months now and have never put a hello in the new members sections so a big appology if that is forum inpolietness.

My name is Chris and i am based in Torridon on the west coast of scotland, i do both river and sea kayaking and are very lucky to be in this area because it is stunning. i also run a small guiding and coaching business here and this may have been where you have seen me most on the forum, commercial section.

i try and browse the other sections to keep on an eye on whats what and as i always say to anyone if you are up this way and want a bit of advice or help about where to go or the water levels or even someone to paddle with then just drop me a line and i will be more than happy to help.

Cheers Chris

We managed a -17 a couple of nights a go which was awesom. the rivers are a no go as they are all frozen including some of the water falls though the Burn sledges really well and so does a master TG. Its been tuff but we have had to test different boast to see which sledges the best. i'm considering a review of all boast tested, what do people think?

the sea kayaking however is awesom, all the mountains are white and we haven't had a breth of wind, just amazing.

cheers
