It has photos of most grid squares. Really quite interesting! Just type a grid ref into the search box top right and it's that simple! Quite handy to use with memory map if you have it.
Think I've got square eye's now from looking at that web site!
Looks like there could be paddling this weekend... but from your signature to looks like you work.
i guess you know already but the resolution on Google Earth for the lakes is now really good. You can see the lines if you squint really hard!
All the pictures were taken at low water levels though!
Nope.. Didn't know that.
Last time I looked they were rubbish. You could just about make out the valleys let alone how much water was in the bottom of them!
Oh no... looks like i'm going to loose another few hours flying (google style) round the lakes!:D

Google Earth is so addictive! Have you flown over and had a look at New York recently? Loads of 3D buildings and photos...

That's another one! In my opinion it's a bit better than google earth because it's not as complicated!
Looks neat but I can't get the 3d add-on to install.... probably because I use firefox rather than IE and it's a Microsoft website!
Just zoomed in on my house and saw that my extension isn't on....looks like quite old data?
