Newlands Beck seems to be have suffered no real negative impact from all the flooding. There is one tree in there, which we portaged and another tree which can be paddled around/under, but they've been there some time.

The bridge at the take out is closed, but the bridge at the put in can still be used. There are some extra rocks in the beck, but these have little impact on the paddling.

The footbridge has also been washed away but there was no sign of this. It's probably floating somewhere in the Irish channel.

As Rockrat has said all good.
I would actually say the beck has been improved greatly by the floods.
It has scoured a lot of vegetation from the banks making it seem like a much cleaner river. Many tree branches have been cleared away and the rockfall mentioned at the first main rapid (around a boulder to the right) has improved the rapid by making it longer.

Just done Newlands again in low water and the rockfall I mentioned is not a rockfall but a solid ledge which has become more noticeable due to scouring of the main channel.

The beck is much improved after the floods making it even a good low water option now which can be runnable even when the Greta is too low
